Hello

My name Chi Turner and welcome to my site! I started my artistry business, In The Blush, LLC in 2018. I have a background in Hospitality and Customer Service (to sum all of my jobs up ;)). Clients and colleagues always ask me how I ended up in makeup and I tell them it was a happy accident. I was a tomboy all the way up until my senior year of high school. I had a phenomenal artist do my makeup for special occasions but still didn't care for it much. It wasn't until my now husband and I began dating that I slowly began to loosen up a bit and have a go at implementing makeup into morning routine more often. In 2015, after our wedding, I decided to wear makeup but wanted to learn the science of it. the undertones and skin textures and everything,  I took a course and then another and in 2018 I decided that it was time to pursue makeup artistry professionally. In 2020, I decided it was time to add lash enhancements to my business and it was the best decision I made!

It meshed well with the experience from my other fields and allowed me to be a better artist when it comes to putting my clients at ease. I enjoy making women feel their best and being able to make them feel like I'm a girlfriend doing their makeup instead of a woman just holding a brush and tweezers.
